Website Privacy & Cookies

This page is about this website only. The WeekPad app is covered by its own Privacy Policy: the app has no account, no database, and no servers of ours.

Here on the web, we would like to know which pages people actually read. That is the whole ambition — nothing more.

1. Who runs this website

This website is published by lucanise.com, the independent maker of WeekPad. It exists to describe the app and to host its legal pages.

2. What we collect here

Nothing until you choose. When you first arrive, a banner asks whether you are happy for us to use analytics. Until you accept, no analytics cookies are written and no analytics script is loaded.

If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-S4EF8SY38S), operated by Google. It records things like the pages you visit, roughly how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and an approximate region. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use advertising features, remarketing, or ad personalisation.

We never receive your name, your email address, or anything you write in your planners. The app does not talk to this website.

3. Cookies used

  • Your choice — a small entry stored in your browser (local storage) that remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics. It is strictly necessary for honouring your decision and is never shared.
  • Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) — set only after you accept. They distinguish one visit from another and expire on their own, typically within about two years.

There are no advertising cookies, no social media pixels, no data brokers, and no third-party trackers beyond the analytics described above.

4. Why we are allowed to do this

Analytics runs on your consent, freely given and just as freely withdrawn. Declining costs you nothing: every page of this site works exactly the same either way.

5. Changing your mind

You can revisit your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops analytics from being used going forward; you can also clear cookies in your browser settings at any point.

6. Your rights over website data

Analytics data is aggregated and we cannot connect it to you as a person, so in most cases we are unable to look up, export, or delete "your" record — there isn't one tied to your identity. You can still ask us anything about how this site handles data, and you can stop collection instantly by declining analytics.

Google processes analytics data as our provider and may transfer it outside your country under the safeguards described in its own privacy documentation.

7. Other services on this page

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them. Links to the App Store take you to Apple, whose own terms and privacy notices apply once you leave this site.

8. Getting in touch

Questions about this page or about anything on the website are welcome.

9. Changes to this page

We may update this page as the website changes. The current version always lives here, with the date at the top.

Start with this week

WeekPad is free to use and comes with your first agenda. Unlimited Agendas is a one-time purchase; WeekPad Sync is a subscription with a free trial that includes both. Whatever you choose, the agendas you've already written stay yours to read and edit.
