WeekPad is developed and maintained by a single independent developer, not a company — there is no team and no support desk, and any support, reply, or update is best-effort only.
Looking for the agreement itself? Read the End User License Agreement and Terms of Use.
1. Zero Knowledge
We do not know who you are, what you write, or what images you add. WeekPad has no user accounts of ours, no email verification, and no tracking cookies. We operate no servers and keep no database of your content. Your data belongs to you.
2. Local by Default
By default, all your data is stored ONLY on this device. We do not transmit your data to any servers of ours — we have none. If you delete this app or your device is lost or damaged, your local data is lost permanently unless you have your own backup.
⚠️ We are not liable for any data loss, for any reason.
3. Optional iCloud Sync
Sync is optional, off by default, and offered as a paid subscription. If you turn it on, your planners and photos are stored in YOUR own Apple iCloud account (a private database only you and Apple can access). They are not files or folders you can browse — only WeekPad can open them, and you will only see WeekPad as a storage amount in your iCloud settings.
We still have no server and no database. We cannot read, see, reach, control, or recover your synced data. Apple's iCloud terms apply to that copy. Syncing images uses network data and counts toward your iCloud storage; if your iCloud is signed out or full, syncing simply pauses and nothing local is lost.
4. Sync Is Not a Backup
Sync keeps your devices matching each other — it is NOT a backup. If you delete or damage an entry, that change copies to your other devices. WeekPad has NO import and NO restore: we cannot load data back into the app for you. Your own Export is the only recovery that never depends on us, on Apple, or on Sync.
⚠️ Sync is provided as-is, at your own risk. It keeps your devices matching each other — it isn't a backup, and a change or deletion travels to your other devices. Because your planners live in your own iCloud, we can't see them or put them back for you. Export regularly, and keep anything important stored safely elsewhere too.
5. Actions Outside WeekPad
Once Sync is on, your data lives in your iCloud, which you control from places we cannot see — the iOS Settings app, iCloud storage management, another device, or icloud.com. Signing out of iCloud, turning iCloud off for WeekPad, deleting WeekPad's data there, or running out of space can change how the app behaves or remove your synced planners. We cannot detect, prevent, undo, or recover from these actions. Keeping your iCloud account and its settings in working order is your responsibility.
6. No Tracking
WeekPad contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no data brokers. We do not track your location or usage patterns.
7. Your Rights
Since we do not store your data, we cannot delete it for you or provide a copy. You can export your data at any time using the Export feature, or delete it by deleting planners, deleting the app, or (for synced data) removing WeekPad's data from your iCloud settings.
8. Contact & Support
If you have questions about this policy, please assume the answer is "We don't know, we don't have your data."
